More than 150.000 adults attended lifetime learning programs in 2016

A little more than 150.000 adults were attending adult education and lifetime learning programs in 2016, the State Statistics Bureau informed on Thursday.

This number includes adults aged between 25 and 64 and out of them, 53,6 percent were men and 46,4 percent women.

About 44 percent of the people in this category were young adults, aged between 25 and 34. The oldest category, between 55 and 64 years of age, covered about 9 percent of people who were attending lifetime education programs.
